Ecology of Atlantic Shores – BIOL 201/301

Students in this course have the opportunity to explore diverse marine habitats ranging from the rocky intertidal in New England to coral reefs in Bermuda. During the semester, our travels took us to Northeastern University’s Marine Science Center in Nahant, MA, and the Bermuda Institute for Ocean Studies (BIOS) in St. George, Bermuda.

Please feel free to explore the links on this site that describe our research projects, the natural history of the organisms in the distinct habitats, and our adventures by visiting the course web site.
