Dr. Goldberg has a long record of service to the professions of family studies, psychology, and LGBTQ studies. Past service appointments include:

Dr. Goldberg has also served on numerous grants review committees and provided ongoing consultation to attorneys, nonprofits, and other organizations, including the Human Rights Campaign and COLAGE. She has assisted as a writer and signatory on numerous amicus briefs related to LGBTQ employment discrimination, marriage equality, and restroom access for trans students.
