Welcome to my eFolio!

On this site, you will be able to see my growth and development as an educator during my year in Clark University’s Masters of Arts in Teaching program. This intensive, year-long, accelerated program gave me the opportunity to complete my graduate studies while diving head-first into the world of teaching.

Throughout this year, I have been completing my practicum hours as an 8th grade English teacher at University Park Campus School, under the mentorship of Meghan Rosa. Here at University Park, I have been able to have the unique experience of teaching in a small neighborhood school, and have embraced all of the challenges and rewards that come with this experience. Along the way, I have faltered and made many mistakes, but have also enjoyed numerous successes as I have been discovering my teacher self and taking command of the classroom. I have been able to watch my students succeed and grow as well, which has filled me with immeasurable pride.

Overall, this incredible experience has taught me as much about myself as it has about my students, about the community, and about education in general. I am lucky to have been able to grow and succeed along with my students; as you browse through this site, you will see artifacts and evidence of this growth and the many successes we achieved along the way.
