Professor Cardemil was recently appointed as one of the associate editors for the new Journal of Latina/o Psychology. The journal will publish empirical, theoretical, methodological, and applied research on a range of issues relevant to Latino communities.
Several lab members had a busy month, presenting at various conferences. Rachel and Tatiana presented at a Disparities Research conference and Oswaldo presented at the Psychology of Religion mid-year Conference. Congratulations!
At the recent National Multicultural Summit in Seattle, Professor Cardemil participated in an invited panel discussion that focused on the relationships between psychological science and ethnic minority communities.
