The Jack lab at Clark University studies plant-microbe interactions in agricultural and natural systems to gain an understanding of their influence on below-ground population dynamics. Our goal is to foster an open, inclusive environment where people are excited to do good science. We believe that a healthy, inclusive lab culture is built on three principles: communication, education, and action.

Disentangling the complexities that shape microbe-microbe-plant interactions will provide a fundamental understanding of the ecological and evolutionary mechanisms that organize microbial communities and are a novel method to quantify the influence of microbes on plant fitness.
News!
A warm congratulations to Sara for being chosen to join the Clark Biology DEI council and to Christina for being a 2022 Lyerla summer research recipient! Your hard work has paid off in amazing ways!
