A graduate student position is available in either the biochemistry or chemistry program with a focus on Data Science. This is a unique opportunity for the candidates to be jointly supervised by the faculty members in the chemistry/biochemistry program and data science program. Our mission is to train the next generation of scientists with expertise at the interface of chemistry/biochemistry and data science to develop chemistry/biochemistry-specific data science methods and integrate data science approaches into chemistry/biochemistry research. Chemistry/biochemistry majors with some programming skills are preferred. GRE can be waived for candidates with a master’s degree or having publications or with other demonstrated research experience. Please see the department website for application procedures (https://www.clarku.edu/departments/chemistry/phd-programs/). For any questions about the program, contact Prof. Sharon Huo (shuo@clarku.edu).
