DeLacey

My name is DeLacey. I am the father of two wonderful children; Agatha and Felix. Agatha is just as gentle and kind as her mother and cares for me well. Felix means well but sometimes his temper and his attitude can be problematic. Unfortunately for me, I have been exiled from my high-status life in Paris to become a blind peasant. I carry so much guilt that I have disrupted the lives of my children, and forced them out of the Parisian elegance into the dark, wet forests of Germany, but what has been done is in the past. Now all I can do is move forward and enjoy my life as much as a blind, old peasant could. After how harshly I have been judged, I hold a special place in my heart for the downtrodden, exiled, and forgotten, such as myself. My blindness grants me a gift that my children do not have; I can see people’s character instead of simply their appearance.
