Please read the rules (click link above) before beginning the game!

Dearest Alphonse,

Forgive me for intruding on your correspondence with your son, but I have some information that relates to the events in which you claim to have seen. I don’t have much time to write this as the guards give me only a few moments in private but I feel as though I must inform you of a similar event I witnessed. On the evening of poor William’s death, I was taking a stroll to clear my head, and in the process, I saw a large, looming figure creeping out behind the trees, much like the creature you observed! A chill ran over my entire body as I strained to get a better look. The figure had already started to fade away into the distance, and as I tried to follow it, it promptly disappeared. This creature was only in my presence for a few fleeting moments but I have a sneaking suspicion that it may have something to do with the murder of William. I write to you in hopes that this information I have provided will further the search for this mysterious figure, and in hopes that I will be relieved of suspicion. My dear Alphonse, you have known me well, and you have trusted me enough to serve you and your family for many years. You know better than anyone else that I am incapable of such a crime. I beg of you, do not believe the wicked things they say about me. You and the rest of your family know the true Justine. I implore you to look beyond the opinions of the public, and think about the young girl you took in when I was in need of help. Please refrain from responding to this letter, as the guards will notice I am conversing with someone outside. I hope to be released soon, as a free woman, but if I am not granted this, I wish you and your family all the best.

Farewell, dear Alphonse.

Yours,

Justine Moritz
