Calligraphy

Chinese calligraphy is my quiet retreat from everyday life. I model my practice on the exemplary works of masters such as Wang Xizhi, Chu Suiliang, Su Shi, Mi Fu, and Shen Yinmo. Practicing calligraphy reminds me of where I came from and connects me to the traditions that continue to shape my life. The pieces below mark small steps in my ongoing journey, capturing traces of discipline, enjoyment, and the elegant dance of brush on paper.
