For a &#8220;behind the issue&#8221; interview on the subject, go to <a href=\"https:\/\/journalofholocaustresearch.wordpress.com\/2021\/04\/25\/behind-the-issue-w-robert\/\">this blog post<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/h3>\n<h3>I am the author of three books (<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.upenn.edu\/pennpress\/book\/13398.html\">Warm Brothers: Queer Theory and the Age of Goethe<\/a>,&nbsp;<\/em>2000;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Doctors-Orders-Goethe-Enlightenment-Thought\/dp\/083875466X\"> <em>Doctor&#8217;s Orders: Goethe and Enlightenment Thought<\/em><\/a>, 2001;&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.upenn.edu\/pennpress\/book\/15448.html\"><em>Peripheral Desires: The German Discovery of Sex<\/em><\/a>, 2015). With Stephanie Yuhl (Holy Cross) and Joseph Cullon (WPI), I am the co-author of<a href=\"https:\/\/www.worcesterhistory.org\/shop\/lgbtq-worcester-for-the-record\/\"> <em>LGBTQ+ Worcester for the Record <\/em><\/a>(2019). We also co-curated <a href=\"https:\/\/www.worcesterhistory.org\/past\/lgbtq-worcester-for-the-record\/\">the exhibit of the same name<\/a> at the Worcester Historical Museum. With Ivan Raykoff (New School University), I am the co-editor of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.routledge.com\/A-Song-for-Europe-Popular-Music-and-Politics-in-the-Eurovision-Song-Contest\/Tobin-Raykoff\/p\/book\/9780754658795\"><em>A Song for Europe: Music and Politics in the Eurovision Song Contest<\/em><\/a> (2007). I am also the editor of the 2011 special issue of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.euppublishing.com\/loi\/pah\"><em>Psychoanalysis and History<\/em> <\/a>called &#8220;Global Freud.&#8221;<\/h3>\n<h3>In addition, I have published over 40 articles and op-ed pieces.
