Noel obtained his Ph.D in chemistry from Texas A&M, specializing in solid-state NMR under the supervision of James Haw. He then pursued his interests in biological solid state NMR in the laboratory of Timothy Cross. After appointments in the College of Medicine of the University of Iowa, Center for Neurologic Diseases at Brigham and Women\u2019s Hospital, and the Department of Neurology of UCLA, he joined Clark in 2006.<\/p>\n– B.S., University of the Philippines
