There are about 370 students enrolled here and serves grades pre-k to 6th grade. About 85% of students are a part of minority groups according to the Jacob Hiatt Massachusetts DOE Profile. 65% of students have English as not their first language, with 25% of students classified as multilingual (MLL) learners. 87% of students are high-needs learners.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-812\" src=\"https:\/\/wordpress.clarku.edu\/mat20-klegare\/files\/2020\/02\/06AC261E-08D8-4784-BF2D-5D36516D0927-scaled-e1582564445705-300x243.jpeg\" alt=\"\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-812\" width=\"477\" height=\"386\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>STAR<\/strong> Expectations: Jacob Hiatt uses star expectations as a set of guidelines. Each student has a star card, and earns &#8220;clicks&#8221; when they are following star expectations.
