Here is the board we use for morning meeting. The super kid fills in the missing letters. We read our schedule for the day, we get a preview for the math lesson of the day, and we also do a little bit of practice with money! The super kid gets to lead the morning meeting and guide us through it.This is a page out of a “conversation journal” which is a journal that each student in our class has. In these journals, students can write whatever they want and we respond back to them. This is a great way to communicate with students and get to know them better.Here is where we display student work and they are always so proud to have their work for everyone to see.Here are two scientists working to see what objects light can shine through during my sound and light unit. They were describing different objects as; transparent, translucent, or opaque.Here we worked with pumpkin seeds and sorted them into ten frames.More fun with the pumpkins!Here is the chart I created for our opinion writing unit.
