Thank you to…
- Katie Eressy, the mentor teacher of my dreams, for being so patient with me day in and day out, for the valuable feedback you gave me, and for setting a precedent in the classroom that made it so easy for me when I stepped in to take over. There are not really words that can sum up all the ways you helped me this year, and I have loved sharing a classroom with you.
- Dr. Rosa Nam, for believing in me and pushing me to be more than I thought I could be, for your kind but honest feedback, and for making me and all of the English cohort feel like we had someone unequivocally on our team.
- The entire 9th Grade GSA/Arts Academy, but especially periods 2, 8/9 and 11, for their patience and willingness to learn with me, for reminding me every day why teaching is a job that I get to do not have to do, and for bringing so much joy and laughter into my life this year.
The whole secondary MAT cohort, but especially Brett Iarrobino, Cesi Toy and Casey Bowers, thank you for sharing your brains with me this year. When I imagine doing this program without you, I can’t imagine finishing it.
