4A.1: Reflective Practice (explanation and evidence)

From my Summative  Assessment Form:

Alicia took several courses (Ways of Knowing Sequence, Teaching and Learning II, II and on-site seminar) where she engaged in specific class activities designed to promote reflection on her own practice and that of others.  She contributed thoughtful comments and suggestions to group discussions.  As well, as part of the ’rounds’ sequence, Alicia both presented and attended demonstration lessons where pre-service teachers  asked participants to observe then provide constructive feedback on their teaching.  Alicia participated in post-lesson observation conferences with her PS & SP to discuss her strengths and challenges as an instructor.
