• The Midwest [4.T4c] We worked towards understanding of the people, places, and cultures in the Midwest United States, including studies of Mount Rushmore National Monument, the Great Lakes, and the car manufacturing industry.  Then, students conducted their own independent research.
• The Southwest [4.T4d] We worked towards understanding of the people, places, and cultures of the Southwest United States, including studies of the Grand Canyon, cowboys, and Navajo Native Americans.  Then, students conducted their own independent research.
• The West [4.T4e] We worked towards understanding of the people, places, and cultures of the Western United States, including studies of the Hollywood movie industry, Redwood National Park, and Native Hawaiians.  Then, students conducted their own independent research.
