Welcome to my electronic portfolio! This website documents my yearlong journey teaching sixteen fantastic second graders in the Main South area of Worcester, Massachusetts. I was privileged to have the opportunity to co-teach alongside my mentor teacher, Jennifer Conlon, at Jacob Hiatt Magnet School. This year was full of growth, change, and reflection through all degrees of successes and failures. Feel free to explore this website where you will find video footage, photos, curriculum unit plans, student work, personal reflections, as well as my philosophy around my teaching practice. Because of the pervasiveness and swift-nature of the COVID-19 virus, some of my work was planned but not able to be implemented within a classroom setting. This will be denoted by a “*” next to specific units, lessons, and student work which are not present.

In addition to the work on this webpage, I would like to thank the numerous kind people who helped me succeed during this challenging year: my mentor teacher, Jennifer Conlon: my university mentor, Holly Dolan: my wonderful Clark professors: and all the MATs in our cohort. I’d like to give a special thanks to my wonderful elementary cohort, Eliza Meltzer, Liliana Costa-Smith, Laurel White, Sasha Feeney, and Aubrey Cornwell. Our group was small but mighty. You were all so helpful and supportive throughout this entire process. Lastly, I would like to thank my family for their continuous support and encouragement. Knowing you believed in me from the start meant the world. Thank you everyone!
