Curriculum, Planning, and Assessment

1A.4: Well-Structured Lessons

I met this standard by structuring my lessons to be strong, creative and with the diversity of my student’s needs in mind. I considered my students strengths, weaknesses, and goals to carefully plan and facilitate daily lessons. Furthermore, I took advantage of my rapport with students as well as their personal interests to plan effective lessons and classroom activities.

1B.2: Adjustment to Practice

I feel that I met this standard through my constant flexibility and openness to feedback. I would always adjust my assessments based on student performance and feedback, as well as feedback from my mentors and members of my cohort. As my main goal is to support my students any feedback or suggestions were instantly implemented into my teaching practice.
