I had colleagues at South High as well as at Clark University. I was supported by my mentors, Kevin Moylan and Pascalia Mattioli, who are amazing English teacher themselves. I also had the support of the best English cohort of all time, a group of fellow masters students who also taught English at different schools around the city. Having the cohort was so helpful as we were all tough young teachers who were ready to take over the… CLASSROOM. Together we found ways to learn and adjust our teaching practice, all while enjoying the uniqueness of our individual teaching styles.
I also found many mentors and teacher friends along the way. A special thanks to Eric, Kate, Jie, and Raphael for all of their support throughout this program, it was an honor to learn from and be taught by them.
