2A.3:          Meeting Diverse Needs

Instruction will accommodate all learners needs, interests, and levels of readiness. Using scaffolds and differentiation, students of all abilities, including those with disabilities and those learning English, will be supported. 

2B.1:          Safe Learning Environment

Students will feel safe in the classroom, as they become familiar with consistent routines, procedures, and responses from the teacher. In this classroom environment, students will take academic risks and grow as learners. 

2D.2:          High Expectations 

Students will be held to high expectations through modeling, encouragement, and assurance that effort precedes innate ability.
