&nbsp;Formative&nbsp; &nbsp; <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Students will be assessed through their turn and talks during class discussion, answers shared with the entire group, participation in IXL practice, and 0-4 self reflection done by the students to monitor for understanding.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Lesson two: Understanding Angles<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Formative&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Students needed to accurately complete a guided exploration and participate in group questions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Summative<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Students completed a quick check quiz and use this information to individualize the homework assignment.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Lesson three: Measure and Draw Angles<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Formative<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Students needed to be successful when using of a hands on protractor, participating in an online game called &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mathplayground.com\/rocket_angles.html\">Rocket Angles<\/a>&#8220;, and participation in group discussion.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Summative<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Students were asked to independently complete a homework sheet in which they needed to measure angles with a protractor.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Lesson four: Add and Subtract Angles&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Formative<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Students needed to show understanding while completing practice problems, participating in an online game called &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mathplayground.com\/alienangles.html\">Alien Angles<\/a>&#8220;, and completing a challenge assignment on Pearson.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Summative&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Students were asked to show their understanding through mastery of skill strands on IXL.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Lesson five: <b>Solving Problems Using Appropriate Tools<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Formative<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Students showed understanding through class discussion, completion of practice problems, and IXL practice.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Summative<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Students were asked to show their understanding through completion of a unit review homework.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Lesson six: Review\/Test<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Formative<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Students needed to show their understanding of the unit through a &#8220;Kahoot&#8221;
