Lesson three: Measure and Draw Angles

Students needed to be successful when using of a hands on protractor, participating in an online game called “Rocket Angles“, and participation in group discussion.

Students were asked to independently complete a homework sheet in which they needed to measure angles with a protractor.
Lesson four: Add and Subtract Angles
Formative
Students needed to show understanding while completing practice problems, participating in an online game called “Alien Angles“, and completing a challenge assignment on Pearson.
Summative
Students were asked to show their understanding through mastery of skill strands on IXL.
Lesson five: Solving Problems Using Appropriate Tools
Formative
Students showed understanding through class discussion, completion of practice problems, and IXL practice.
Summative
Students were asked to show their understanding through completion of a unit review homework.
Lesson six: Review/Test
Formative
Students needed to show their understanding of the unit through a “Kahoot” review game.
Summative
Students were asked to show their encompassing knowledge of the unit through a paper test.
