Performance Assessments

Informal Assessments

For both units students were given worksheets to informally assess their understanding. They rotated through centers and completed the worksheet at the worksheet center.

Formal Assessments

Fact families: Students were each given a cube train made up of cubes in two colors. They needed to figure out the total, and each part, which they wrote on their houses. Once they finished, students could decorate their houses.

Adding three numbers: Students completed a worksheet rolling three dice and adding the total. They drew the number on the dice and then added the numbers together, recording the sum.
