In addition, I came up with the &#8220;What&#8217;s the Rule?&#8221; exponent discovery sheets through conversations with Kate Shepard and Kyle.&nbsp;For the scientific notation unit, much of my inspiration and real-world contexts came from an eighth grade unit created by Jessica Griffin, a former graduate student at the College of Brockport, that I found online.
