On this site, you will be able to see my growth and development as an educator during my year in Clark University’s Masters of Arts in Teaching program.\u00a0<\/strong>This intensive, year-long, accelerated program gave me the opportunity to complete my graduate studies while diving head-first into the world of teaching.<\/span><\/p>\n Throughout this year, I have been completing my practicum hours as an 8th grade English teacher at University Park Campus School, under the mentorship of Meghan Rosa. Here at University Park, I have been able to have the unique experience of teaching in a small neighborhood school, and have embraced all of the challenges and rewards that come with this experience. Along the way, I have faltered and made many mistakes, but have also enjoyed numerous successes as I have been discovering my teacher self and taking command of the classroom. I have been able to watch my students succeed and grow as well, which has filled me with immeasurable pride.<\/p>\n Overall, this incredible experience has taught me as much about myself as it has about my students, about the community, and about education in general.
