Students participated in a group activity \/ competition effectively and collaboratively, using their new sports vocabulary and action verbs. Students were\u00a0able to use their notes, new knowledge, and cross-disciplinary knowledge to collaboratively solve the stages of the Amazing Race game. At the end of the review students were asked to express their personalities through the design and naming of a new \u201cluchador\u201d persona which later became a larger project and culminated with the design of a mask.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.clarku.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/413\/2016\/01\/RoundSheet.pdf\">RoundSheet<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.clarku.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/413\/2016\/01\/RoundIILAP-1.docx\">RoundIILAP<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Round #3 -Spanish 3- Period 7<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.clarku.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/413\/2016\/01\/FOODDESERTS.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1059 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/wordpress.clarku.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/413\/2016\/01\/FOODDESERTS.jpg\" alt=\"FOODDESERTS\" width=\"475\" height=\"503\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wordpress.clarku.edu\/mat16-jolson\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/413\/2016\/01\/FOODDESERTS.jpg 475w, https:\/\/wordpress.clarku.edu\/mat16-jolson\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/413\/2016\/01\/FOODDESERTS-283x300.jpg 283w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 475px) 100vw, 475px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>My final round was during our food unit.\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This lesson was a review of some of the vocabulary and topics we had covered towards the end of this food unit. This unit also served as a natural point for reviewing conjugation which was an issue with most students.
