One of our final assessments for this unit was on national sports. Every country has a national sport, these sports are often obscure and not particularly popular in their countries of origin. They do however tell us a great deal about the countries themselves. Students had to research, as a group, their national sport and explain not only the history of the sport, but also how this national sport could perhaps tell us more about the country itself.<\/p>\n
