Topics include, but are not limited to, questions such as how people make sense of their group&#8217;s victimization in different ways, how this affects psychological well-being and intergroup relations as well as resistance, how group-based power is perceived among oppressed groups, and the psychology of resistance in violent, repressive contexts.<\/p>\n<p>Students in our research group work with multiple methods and data sources (e.g., thematic analysis and content analysis of interviews and oral testimonies, surveys and experiments online or in the field, archival data), across different cultural contexts, and with sensitivity to the social, political and historical context in question.<\/p>\n<p>Undergraduate students who want to <a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.clarku.edu\/jvollhardt\/join-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">join <\/a>the research group can do so by enrolling for my research course, Psyc225, and\/or the Capstone seminar (Psyc 292) that follows.
