\"\"I grew up in Gainesville, Florida<\/a>, but have spent most of my adult life living in New England and in Washington, DC, where I worked for three different Members of the Massachusetts congressional delegation. <\/p>\n

My interest in immigration politics is driven by my family’s own diverse history. My father is originally from Cuba, and I also have ancestors from Poland and Macedonia. <\/p>\n

I enjoy traveling, reading, practicing yoga, cooking, being outside, and spending time with my husband Nick, our daughters, Miriam (14) and Lilah (12), and our dog, Luna (2).<\/p>\n

I am also a member of the <\/span>New Frontier Network<\/a> at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum and of the Kennedy Staff Club<\/a> at the Edward M. Kennedy Institute.<\/p>\n
