TeX is a typesetting system written by Donald\u00a0Ervin\u00a0Knuth who says that it is &#8220;<em>intended for the creation of beautiful books &#8211; and especially for books that contain a lot of mathematics<\/em>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/ool.sourceforge.net\/\" target=\"_blank\">OOL<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nThe <em>Open Optimization Library<\/em> (OOL) is a set of optimization codes written in C, under the GNU Scientific Library (GSL) standards. All the algorithms, implemented in OOL, were published in well known optimization journals.
