In 1919 President Wilson appointed Hapgood Minister to Denmark, a post in which he served for about six months. In 1936, the Trustees of the <em>Christian Register, Unitarian, <\/em>of which Earl C. Davis was then the  President, appointed Hapgood as the editor of the Christian Register. He died on April 29, 1937. Earl C.
