Hello Everyone! My name is Sydney and I am a junior Physics major and Computer Science minor at Clark. My focus is on renewable energy and superconductivity, and I have done on-campus lab research in those areas for the past few summers. I also play clarinet in the concert band and am an outfielder on the varsity softball team (of which I was a co-captain this past year). I really enjoy being involved on campus, one of my favorite clubs being club volleyball (playing volleyball is definitely one of my favorite pastimes).
When I am not doing something school related, I like to spend time with my friends, watch TV, and play music. I also love working out and going line dancing.
I have always loved traveling and have been to Quebec multiple times as well as the Ecuadorian Amazon. Europe has been on my bucket list for as long as I can remember, so I am incredibly excited for this trip and the deep-dive into Spanish and Turkish culture.
