Hey y’all!
I’m Gabby! I’m from Austin, TX and work as an RA on campus. Next semester I will be a junior at Clark with a double major in Game Design (2D art track) and Data Science (Geography Track) planning to pursue an accelerated Master’s degree in Geographic Information studies. What a mouthful! Speaking of a mouthful, I am very excited about Spanish food and language– I want to try as many tapas as possible and speak as much spanish as I can. I just started learning it from class, but want to practice my conversational spanish to better communicate with my Mexican-American relatives.
Though I have a lot of art background (I enjoy drawing, painting, printmaking and digital art!), my knowledge of art history is pretty limited and painting-focused, so I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to learn more about the history of the mediterranean and architecture! I will do many sketches as we travel, so stay tuned for those in my blogs and creative projects. I’m very excited to see and learn about Turkey in general and Ceuta, to expand my horizons and knowledge where I lack it.
