Hi guys, I’m Ari! I’m a rising senior majoring in Geography with a concentration in Genocide and Human Rights studies. I’m interested in exploring Spain and Turkey through the lens of geography and urban planning and development. One of the things I’m eager to explore is how infrastructure/sites built during the medieval period have been revitalized and utilized in new ways, e.g. as tourist attractions, cultural heritage sites, hotels, and much more!
Outside of my studies, I enjoy creative writing and reading. I’m obsessed with coffee and cannot wait to try all the coffee while abroad.
If I’m going to miss anything it’s my dog, James. He’s a beagle/husky (beaski) mix.
