I am also the co-developer and current co-director (with Kathy Palm Reed) of the M.A. in Mental Health Counseling at Clark University.<\/p>\n<p>My research focuses on how individuals and families function within systems of racism, classism, and patriarchy. I am particularly interested in how children and adolescents navigate these systems and develop within them. My research primarily uses qualitative and mixed methodologies.<\/p>\n<section id=\"comp-l84ipdfm\" class=\"Oqnisf comp-l84ipdfm wixui-section\" data-block-level-container=\"ClassicSection\">\n<div class=\"\" data-mesh-id=\"comp-l84ipdfminlineContent\" data-testid=\"inline-content\">\n<div data-mesh-id=\"comp-l84ipdfminlineContent-gridContainer\" data-testid=\"mesh-container-content\">\n<div id=\"comp-kpseusa9\" class=\"Z_l5lU MMl86N zQ9jDz qvSjx3 Vq6kJx comp-kpseusa9 wixui-rich-text\" data-testid=\"richTextElement\">\n<p class=\"font_7 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">I teach introductory and advanced qualitative methods courses to undergraduate and graduate students. In addition, I teach graduate level courses on child and adult psychological assessment.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"font_7 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixGuard wixui-rich-text__text\">I am available to consult on qualitative and mixed-methods study design, analysis, and meaning-making for funded research, nonprofits, and private companies. I have particularly strong interests in consulting on projects and initiatives related to mental health or children and families.&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"font_7 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">I am an enthusiastic collaborator; please reach out if you want to work together. I am committed to supporting other scholars, particularly those navigating academia as first gen, people of color, mothers, and other structurally marginalized social positions.
