Research and CV

I am interested in young children’s psychological development within systems of oppression and privilege. My work focuses broadly on how children and families resist oppressive experiences, how children and families think about their own positions in the world, and how children’s developing attitudes about themselves and others impact the larger systems that they live in.

I am especially interested in using qualitative methods to understand these issues.

This work has been funded by sources including the National Science Foundation (NSF), Spencer Foundation, Society for Research in Child Development (SRCD), and American Psychological Association (APA).
