
I am an Assistant Professor of GIS in the Department of International Development, Community, and Environment at Clark University, Worcester, MA.
I was born and raised in China. My undergraduate training was received in Earth Science (major) and General Science (minor) from Beijing University. I earned my PhD (2009) and Master’s (2004) both in Geography (GIS and Remote Sensing) from Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario and The University of Western Ontario, London, Ontario, respectively.
My research interests broadly focus on Geospatial Information Science & Technology and their application in Environmental Monitoring and Modeling, Landscape Ecolgoy, Public Health, Air Quality, Renewable Energy, etc.
